Sophomore Joachim Case recounts the time he first met his uncle on a trip to Ethiopia. Case met his uncle, believing they had no relation and later learned that he had been disowned by Case’s family.

“I think that he should have been forgiven because he was apologizing for his whole entire life,” Case said. “I mean he got banished when he was my age and then he died on the death bed just asking for forgiveness.”
