![In an effort to budget time and prevent having to complete his work at home, junior Joseph Miller begins his major projects directly after school.
“I study in the commons, but only when I need to get work done … mostly [out of] necessity,” Miller said.
Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Pros: Miller is drawn to this location for the convenience and pleasant atmosphere and despite his mixed feelings about the commons as an ideal study location, Miller can always rely on its availability and on his friends for help when he gets stuck.
Cons: Miller recognizes that the social scene of the commons can hinder his productivity.
