Brief: Setting up for Success
A look into the volleyball season

This year, after winning their sub-state title, varsity volleyball fought their way to make an appearance at the state championship.
This being volleyball’s third year in a row going to state, the coaches feel accomplished. “It feels like all of our hard work paid off,” Coach Jayme Savage said.

Savage describes the team as having a fun, loving and supportive environment. She says she loved watching “athletes continue to grow into amazing young people who care for each other and who all work to accomplish common goals.”

After a season of hard work and determination, senior Samantha Whittlesey was ecstatic to win against Derby. “To be able to host sub-state at home for the first time in six years and beat Derby was just such a great experience and definitely a way to go out,” Whittlesey said.
