“People tell me I’m weird.”

For sophomore Braden Clements things have always been a little different.

“I was three when I learned how to use the potty.” This, however, has not stopped him. His quirky sense of humor is something he’s always possessed.

“I try to venture from the norm, and not to conform,” Clements said. His humor, outlook on life and even his ability to rhyme on the spot have led to many successes.

“In the third grade I got a ‘Neat-o Mosquito’ for getting 100 percent on a test.”

But sometimes life isn’t filled with giggles, “When I was five I had a birthday party that I hated because someone stole my musical chair.”

This musical chair incident probably helped lead to Clements’ life long love of music.

“In 9th grade I sang 500 Miles in the variety show, and I’m in choir this year.”

Clements can often be seen cracking jokes with friends. “The best thing is putting smiles on peoples’ faces, that’s the most joy out of life.”

After high school Clements plans to go to college, start a family and “keep on truckin.’”
